You are the bows from which your children
As living arrows are sent forth
The Archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite
And He bends you with His might
That His arrows may go swift and far
Let your bending in the Archer's hand be for gladness
For even as He loves the arrow that flies
So He loves also the bow that is stable

Interaction Focused Family Institute Founder
Nathan Johnston-Chiszar & Chuck Hoskin Jr.,
Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation.
Nathan Johnston-Chiszar is the father of three amazing neurodivergent children, and founder of the Interaction Focused Family Institute.
Nathan has decades of experience working with US military families all over the world, and using psychometrically valid assessments to improve caregiver-child interactions. This experience made it possible for him to develop the Child Oriented Measure of Parental Alignment and Sustainable Security (COMPASS™). Before any type of child custody mediation, parents work with Nathan to chart their own course to protect their child from family breakdown following divorce, replacing the family court system with their own family legacy system in one year, guaranteed.
Nathan stands for the unique spiritual and cultural identity of every child, in the heartbeat of the family hero passed down from time immemorial. Cherokee Nation citizen and direct descendant of Nancy Ward (Nanyehi), he holds a Master’s degree in Human Behavior from City University of Seattle, and a Doctorate in Education from California State University, Stanislaus.
